Staying Active during the Holiday Season

Do not miss your workouts because of the holidays!!!!!

Get your bootie's to class. Force yourself ladies. No excuses!!!!!

Ok ladies the only lecture for this month is stay on top of your workouts. If you want a lecture you can join me Saturday mornings for our walk, jog or run session. This is free of charge so there is no excuses!!!!! Not only are you going to get a good workout and have the pleasure of my company, but you will also breathe in some nice fresh air and get your Vitamin D thru sunlight. People who have problems with stress and depression during the nasty winter months, this is the ticket to help you fight the battle against that.

Also I want to bring to everyone's attention the fact that on Thanksgiving Day there are allot of 5k's going on in the area pick one and go walk or run it. It's a great feeling to start the day off with a little exercise and also relieves you from the guilt trip later when you are eating all that Holiday food. Also it's a great time to spend with friends and family doing something healthy and active the morning of Thanksgiving. You can actually start a new tradition of a family walk or run in which your kids can carry on in the future.

November is the month of giving thanks. Make it a goal of yours to go help out someone less fortunate than you. And I don't mean shooting them money, I mean actually taking a time out and physically helping someone that actually needs help. Maybe a elderly neighbor who may need some yardwork done, or babysit for a mother that needs a break from her kids, or go volunteer to help a shelter or volunteer your services for a cause. You can even volunteer your services for a 5k that is raising money for a cause.

This is something positive that you can do to make your holiday season a joyous one. You will have a great feeling afterwards if you do something wonderful for someone else this holiday season.

Ok that's it Have a Wonderful Thanksgiving Everyone.....Marcia
